aspire-

You ought to take a good look at the Casio Talk folder over at www.dpreviews.com/forums. Casio cameras have alot ore than a few problems, no matter which model you choose.

well i know that they have problems but so do all othre camera's...canon i think is a really good camera manufacturer BUT i also think it's a bit over rated...it certainly has earned it's good reputation but some ppl have to realize that there are other GREAT companies besides canon

True, but it just seems that Casio has a long history of LCD issues. I had an acquaintance who had worked for Casio, and he would never buy a Casio product because of poor quality control. Yet some of theCasioLCD's look *so* nice.

I really can't think of a company that puts out quality digital cameras across the board like Canon does - except maybe Sony - which is why they get recommended so often -Canon is a "safe" pick.

i also think that the canon's are somewhat over priced...i mean Canon does back it up with good QC and good image quality but the price is a little high SD600 for ex costs 399 In canada not including tax...now i know its a great camera but for a 6MP point and shoot camera ..i would not lie to pay over 400$$
