Hi All, I am also from the UK.

I have also been looking at similar camera's to Markay.

One that is available in the UK ( not in the US ).. is a Fuji F11, which is an updated version of the F10.

OK, it isn't quite as slim as the Casio's, but picture quality, ( especially in low light situations ) battery life etc. are it seems far superior.

It can be had for around the £138 mark in the UK.

May be worth a look.

I am highly surprised that noone has mentioned the Fuji F30 and Canon SD700 IS

Not sure how much the Canon will cost in UK, but the Fuji F30 should be quite affordable. What does everyone else think?

Fair enough, I do understand the attraction of the slim build, but remember there is always a trade off in picture quality.

I considered the Casio's for my own needs, but it was fairly obvious that I would have been less than satisfied with their poor results in low light.

Another option, as suggested above is the Fuji F30, but this is heavier than the F 11, so I guess that will not really be suitable.

At the end of the day, it is your decision, nobody can make your mind up for you.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Great stuff...let us know when it arrives.

My Fuji F 11 arrived today, it is amazing, I am well impressed with it.

Did you order the black or silver version of the Sony ?
