I want to buy a new camera and my options are the news Kodak Z612 and Canon A700! I know Kodak uses KLIK 8000 power but I want a camera with NiMH cells! Can tell me if the Z612 works with NiMH and what is the autonomy! In Portugal it's not easy to buy KLIK 8000! I like the Canon A700 but I want image stabilization... Anyone help me?

Now it's more difficult! With the optical image stabilization the Canon PS A710 is a great camera but Kodak Z612 still the 12x zoom and maybe a better LCD resolution!

I don't know...

pedro-

In all honesty the Kodak Z612 with a full 12X Optical Zoom and full Image Stabilization, as well as true Lithioum Ion Batteries, is most probably the more useful choice.

How you know whether those cameras can have as superb an image quality as the A700 or A710? (The A700 certainly has) Afterall, image quality should be the most important thing of a digital camera.

I saw in the store the CANON S3 IS and the KODAK Z612 and I don't know which I choose! I prefer the Z612 design and the LCD and EVT it´s better than Canon but I read that Canon's zoom it´s more precise than Kodak!

Another problem with Kodak is to find Klic 8000 batery in Portugal! About the CRV3 batery possibility,I like to know what is their autonomy in Z612! With the Klic 8000 the Z612 could make 260 shots with LCD on (it´s true?) but and with the CRV3?

Obrigado!!!
