Hello guys, I'm new to this forum and I need an or some advice regarding how to reset canon Pixma IX4000 and IX5000. Does anyone know?

Both of them are just blinking (green-orange-green-orange and so on) and I can't use them anymore. I did a search with google but to no avail, seems there's no software reset "yet".

Thx before... and sorry if I post in wrong section, I assume wide carriage = A3+ and up?

Very late response but hopefully still useful.

The iX4000 and iX5000 work in the same way as all other chipped Canon Pixmas..

You have to hold down the resume/cancel button for 4 to 5 seconds at a time until the cartridges are accepted as non-standard.

Of course I'm assuming you mean that your IX printers are complaining about non-standard cartridges.. If you're referring to waste ink or "service required" issues then nifty-stuff might have more intel you could use.
