I just found out but if you can guess, have at it !! My wife shot it with her little Kodak 6490 - so no apologies for the quality.

It looks like a type of humming bird moth to me, but there are probably other types of moth that have that long a nectar drinking snout (and also like to hover.)
It looks like the focus is slightly off (on the flower, not the moth) but you can't always get the shot, and those flowers are beautiful! Eric |
