I kept rotating this image thinking I had taken it upside down or sideways, but no, they were just having a good time in the wind drafts.
More eagles from this spring can be seen here Wish I had more time to spend here recently. |

Amazing, Marg.
Sorry I haven't seen you about, but I'm glad you've been active photographically... |

Thanks Tom,
That's the problem - too many pictures and not enough time to process them. I'd love to get a closer shot at the eagle "games". They lock talons and spin around each other, but always way to high up to get anything but a tiny silhouette in the sky. |

Awesome shot, Marg. It always boggles my mind to see a bird flying upside down!!!

Neet..... Probably young males sparring for attention. I've seen it up here also.

Thanks Christie and Malcolm - we have had as many as 7 here at the same time - mostly juveniles. One of the pictures in the link I posted above has 6 - but they are so tiny, only I know they were eagles!

Hi Ron,
Contrary to the clouds in this photo, we've actually seen some blue recently. If it keeps up, I'll have to learn how to take pictures in the sun! With all my moaning about the grey and drizzle, it sure is easier. I saw a post of yours a while back stating that your knees succumbed to the heft of the 300 2.8, I believe. Mine have been a wreck lately, and I wonder if that is the cause? Your pictures of the coots are a riot, and fantastic! |

Great shot Marg!! One of my knees was killing me (just after the 600/F4 purchase..arrghh), but the Dr. came to the rescue with something called "Bextra", alleviated ALL symptoms within a few days!!

Hi Kevin - thanks!. Is that some kind of max Vitamin B - or a prescription? Glad to hear it helped.
