Took the morning yesterday to visit the flooding Mississippi River and watch the migrating eagles head north from Minnesota into Canada. The 15 degree weather was not helping me hold my Canon 70-200mm f/4L IS. I wanted to maintain a ISO of 100, so this shot was at full zoom (200mm), 1/50 shutter with the IS kicked in and a B & W CPL filter to cut some glare. Fairly impressive amount of detail as this shot had plenty of crop to it...

This eagle does a bit of fishing along one of the few areas of the Mississippi not frozen by the bitter cold...
