All this talk of Yellow Warblers reminded me of this shot. I took it this past weekend while just out walking. I had found an Oriole nest and was watching that when this guy flew up. This was a nice surprise as most have moved through up to Eric CAN's area of the world. He was initially further in the trees but then came down on the branch into the light... and I was very happy he did.

They can be a very hard bird to get a good shot of or you can just get lucky and they present themselves. This day I got lucky. So keep at it Normcar, you'll get one. This wasn't taken as close as Eric CAN has been getting (I'd have had to hover to get there) but it came out fairly well.

Camera: 10D [email protected] f5.6 1/180th ISO200 RAW, tripod

PS: RAW convert, neatimage, levels, saturation, shadows, crop, reduce, sharpen, dodge

That list is a little long, but I actually didn't do that much of any of them.

Great job eric! Those Yellows are going to wonder why all of these cameras are pointing in their direction lately. I hope they don't become neurotic.
