Actually, it looks for all the world like a rock painting from prehistoric times. Well, I guess that's kind of fitting, come to think of it. Lizards are a much older sort of animal than we are. Nice photo.

Lovely colours, both the rock and the lizard. Never seen a lizard head shown like that looks almost as if it belongs on a dinosaur.

these lizards are everywhere here on the coast where I live. You see them as you take the walk paths around the coastal edge, they lie in the sun until they see you and then they are off. The only way I got this pic is because it was taken at the city of Perths Zoo.

Remarkable camouflage. When animals can blend in that like they do loose that 3d quality.
