A few days ago, it was a nice fall day here in Wisconsin. I was desperately trying to capture a bee in flight. A spent a good hour, laying in tall grass next to some wild flowers and captured several shots. ALL WERE OUT OF FOCUS! I was using a close up lens, f8, but the depth of field was just too short.
Then, my 13 year old son went out and got this: ![]() I cropped it in a bit and enhanced levels. Shot with the Sony 717. |

You might want to put it through neatimage to get rid of some of the noise (just a suggestion ![]() |

great shot!!! can your son give me lessons on bee-in-flight photography???!!!! i've done the same as you and haven't captured a good pic like that yet.
