G'day all
Parked the motorhome amongst the trees for several days rest and found a nest in the tree not too far away Here's Mum at the nest ![]() exif- Panny FZ-200; 1/125s x F2,8; 24x zoom / 600mm FF Equiv; ISO-160 and Dad's not far away either ![]() exif- Panny FZ-200; 1/320s x F4,0; 24x zoom / 600mm FF Equiv; ISO-100 As always, feedback welcome Phil

Nice captures Phil, I think that what you have there is an Australasian Figbird the colourful one by the nest is the male and the duller one the female.

Thankx for your thoughts - I am quite unsure as to exactly what bird it is ... the female is in #1, the male (a much larger bird) is #2 ~~ I think they are honeyeaters but ?? Phil
