I would personally get a prime for the sharpest pics possible, but i'm a sharpness/detail freak. Even the 75-300 usm would be better than the kit lens i would imagine and it's not very expensive. |

My wallet can't get near a lens with a L in it's name.
I do have a Sigma 70-300 but I haven't taken it in the kayak yet, I'm not too sure about keeping it stable at 300mm. As soon as it warms up a little I'm going to give it a try. E.B. P.S. Needless to say, nice shot. |
