Default A couple of shorties from this afternoon

Went back up north for what will likely be my last visit to my local "owling" spot for short-eared owls this season. Not because I'll never go back, but because the "owl season" is winding down, and the activity level is dropping. I was happy to get some nice shots this afternoon...

This one, coming straight at me, full-frame, no cropping...

A close fly-by in some nice light...
