I took these pics a few weeks ago at the park. The baby wood ducks were diving for food in the pond, and the turtle was just sunbathing. (Or he was trying to lure a guy with a camera close enough for a bite)

That picture of the ducks is absolutely adorable. It made me smile

I also really like the composition of the shot.
The one of the turtle is very clear but I guess it's easier to get a shot of a slow moving turtle than a frolicking duck.
Very nice!

Thanks jazcan. I thought it was kinda funny since I had just seen the movie 'Bruce Almighty'. The duck on the right had just come back to the surface and is shaking the water from its feathers.

He (or she) was very patient with me. Just sat still while I took several pictures. Then when I was done, it got up and walked into the pond.

Great shot of the Turtle - I particularly like the eye and the overall crispness of the head.

One question though, have you tried changing the exposure a bit (say in Photoshop) to reduce the brightness back of the eye / on the side on the neck ?

Yes I did, I just haven't had the chance yet. Thanks. I originally just took it as an example for a friend about different points of view.
