From the archives, taken in nice afternoon light. This one shows quite a color shift after PBASE got it.
![]() ![]() OK here's the same shot converted to sRGB Some of the warmth has been restored, good call Eric!!! ![]() ![]() |

Aw, he/she looks so all alone!
What kind of colour shift are you talking about? I do notice that when I upload photos they do look different online than when viewed in photoshop :? |

As always, thanks for the compliments!!
Tracey, the original had a good deal more warmth to it than the version you are seeing here. Perhaps PBASE converted it to the SRGB colorspace but I've not noticed this profound an effect before. |

A color space shift is what came to my mind.
But I would have assumed you would have used/converted to SRGB before uploading... that is what most browsers expect and things will look really dull if you use Adobe RGB. At least that is what I've been told. I've never experimented with it. Very nice picture, as usual. Great detail on the feathers, and I like how the subtle colors are all there. Our nesting sparrows had 3 broods (I believe) this year. We regularly get 11 sparrows (the giant family) on our bird feeder... 3 or 4 eating and the rest waiting to jump in. I really should get a shot of it, it's kinda funny. Eric |

Thanks again guys. Eric, I'm at a loss on this one, but I'll try converting the file and posting it beneath the other

The colours definitely do look much warmer at my end.
Very nice ![]() This may be a stupid question- How do you convert to sRGB? |

Hi Tracey, in photoshop you do the converting with a couple of mouse clicks. I imagine that elements will do the same. In PS it's under image/mode

Thanks Kevin,
Unfortunately, I've still only got Photoshop 5 LE which I don't think has that feature. I've been meaning to get elements but the price here in Canada is $140 (ouch). One more thing to add to my wishlist ![]() |
