Great followup on your technique, Darrell - thank you very much.
My camera, an Oly C8080WZ, doesn't have a wired dedicated remote like yours. If I want to do remote photos I have to either use the IR remote which probably is of little use at the distance away from the camera I'd have to be, or else I have to control the camera using a laptop computer, remote control s/w, and a USB connection. The latter is doable. It's also interesting that your wired remote gives you the capability to do a half-press of the shutter, something I'm sure mine operated remotely cannot do (at least I think I'm sure - now, where is that manual...) |

Really neat shots. Cool how you were able to freeze the action and like the dark background as welll it really sets the birds colors off.
Really like the pictures of the bird in action. |
