some wild turkeys from Mio, MI...took this while in my car in the middle of the road...needless to say didnt have much time for composition...they were just waiting to become dinner!

Very good. Where I live, the turkeys hang out, marching across the yard, making a great to-do of flying up into a tree, their babies toddling along after them. Even the chicks are homely. Though they're always popping in and out of the scenery, I've never had my camera at hand when they've shown up. It's not as if they're fast like hummingbirds, either. Yesterday, Thanksgiving Day, I stood in the kitchen working when I looked out the window and, yessiree, there they were, about twenty of them, lurching across the yard. Alive and uneaten.
