Lambs and Ducks

Hope you like them? The 1st one could have a caption of, "you're not from around here are you?". The 2nd one I am unsure about the foreground grass. Don't know if it works? Comments please!

cheers
Martin.

Hi Martin.

I like both of your shots. Your absolutly right about the caption for no. 1. It says it all, doesn't it! But it should have been sharper I think.
No 2 has a very fine DOF, but the small size posted here makes it lack of details - you know - eyes, nose a.s.o.

Keep up the good work!

Klaus

Why do you think it hasn't come out really sharp?

(Shutter Speed)
1/125
(Aperture Value)
4.0

Did I perhaps just focus on a wrong area or camera shake?

Martin.

No no, it has nothing to do with your DOF or camerashake, I think. It's obvious perfect, nothing less. But the shot is a bit overexposed, which makes the photo loose some details. What I meant was, that you could add some contrast and then use USM for sharpening it a bit. It would make a big difference.

Best regards
Klaus
