Out of probably 30 shots or more this is the only one that was worth anything, and it ain't worth much. but, i realy think llamas or alpacas are some of the strangest critters. this one was running all over the place and wouldn't be still.

I agree, Dennis. Llamas are interesting, and if I'm not mistaken, this one thought you were pretty interesting too. I had the same sort of experience trying to photograph a gang of buffalo. I didn't get a single decent picture, but I think it was because I had to hold my breath when I got within 50 feet of them. Lawd, but them critters stink!

Do llamas spit like their camel cousins?

Barbar, the stink doesn't bother me much as long as they don't trample me. llamas do spit from what i hear and i was concerned this is what he had in mind. he didn't spit. he just trotted up to me and then turned around and ran away after his buddies.
