What really interesting lighting. It almost looks like it has a slight tint to it....

I think I like the second one better... but only because I can see the entire face. They both are well done.

yep great pics, I also like the second one best. Like that you can see the light source in the corner of the monkey's eye !

and I agree that the second is the best, the first is a little out of focus in the face too :(

I have another one but my autofocus failed on me that time :(. It would have been an absolutely fantastic pic otherwise (I think)

I realy like the second picture. Were you using single or continuous autofocus when you had the problem ?

continous I think...

it could be movements by the monkey too... shutter speed was low...

It looks a bit like the lion monkey's they are so INSANE fast it's almost impossible to take a picture with a slower camera, soon I will try with the 10D, that SHOULD work :D.
