Wow, what an excellent photo. The color hit me like a bat when it downloaded. and sharp as a tack. This is definitely a post I'll remember. Frogs are not my favorite beasts but this one is excellent.
I forgot to mention the expression. So innocent. I didn't think a frog could be that way. |

What kind of frog is that? Ive never seen one like it before. By the looks of it, Id say it looks quite small. i have a neighborhood frog too. Shes a big lazy one though. Every summer I see her watching the tadpoles at the little pond.

Macro work is not easy, and you did it well. Very nice!
I agree with Vito, a larger aperture for greater Depth of Field might have been nice (of course, it would have dropped the shutter speed, which might not have been acceptable.) But you got the eye very sharp, which is what you need. I like it a lot. Eric |
