Very striking photo, and loved the contrast between the insect and the purple flower. Except for the slightly overexposed tip of the flower, you have a great shot.

Thanks Selvin,
The tip of the flower is fine on the original shot, but I applied some general exposure compensation in Nikon Capture in order to brighten the butterfly. I may have been better using Photoshop and "dodging" the flower head, or settled for for slightly less compensation in capture.... |
