I definitely like the first shot better.
![]() It's sharper and there's a lot of contrast between the squirrel and background- it really stands out. The squirrel is a little blurry in the second one (you could apply some USM if you have photoshop) and the colours look a little flat. But hey, that's only my opinion. |

Thanks for the comments Jazcan, both pics have had a touch of USM cos I couldn't get any closer and had to use a bit of digital zoom (I know, I know). Unfortunatly the second was taken in deep shadow so could do with a bit of a touchup also.
BTW I use Corel PhotoPaint as opposed to PhotoShop, I tried to get my head around PhotoShop but it is quite difficult to re-learn when you are alredy competant on a differnt package. |

I agree with Tracy, the first shot has more character. Incidentally, what are you feeding those fellas, they look like they are a just a shade this side of rotund..
