Hi Peter
First, the little matter of a contradiction in terms: "Friendly Swan?" I'd like to meet one. You've handled the great delemma of not blowing the highlights and yet capturing the Black, a wee bit short. In addition, I don't care for the crop. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice photo, but if you hadn't cropped it so tight, the problems would be far less visible. Dave |

HI Dave,
thanks for the comments, the photo is not cropped, I managed to get within 10 feet of the swan, which is why I called it "friendly" and the photo was as taken by the camera on auto except for being resized. Pete |
