"The Take-off"

Spent 30 minutes watching this eagle, waiting for this moment. Fortunately, it was a glorious afternoon, no wind, so I took off my coat and basked in a t-shirt! Waiting proved worthwhile, as my patience was rewarded with this "launch" photo...

Great shot. How close were you to the eagle?

PS...I am eyeing that Canon Mirrorless R5 that will be coming out. I cannot wait to hear what people think of it once they start shooting it. :) Have you been thinking about moving to the mirrorless world too Rocky?

G'day Tangula

I will leave Rocky to answer your Q re him and his style of shooting ... but I have been running mirrorless for 10 years or more -and love em-

In SLR terms, my Panny G2 is now 'old stuff' but still smaller and lighter than most APS sized cameras, and quiet - just a small 'click' for each exposure and it's away. But at 10+ yrs old, newer technology has come along

These days I'm loving the Panny FZ-2500 - again mirrorless, fixed-lens superzoom (which I prefer to SLR cameras) ... very fast response times, super bright EVF, and a dream to use
