Default Two Deer grazing during evening commute

Canon G5 with Canon 1.75 teleconverter

Lexington or Concord, Massachuetts...not sure exactly which town I was in, but they were grazing in a field across the street from the Minuteman path.

I couldn't believe when I saw three beautiful does with white cotton tails. I guess one of them took off before I could pull over, get my camera ready, then walk across traffic over to their side of the road. Only had time for one shot before they ran. Funny that the traffic along Rt. 2A didn't scare them away, but my presence did.

very nice photo, I guess they realise that humans on foot put them at risk but they have become so used to traffic that cars dont bother them.
