After finally getting one to post I thought I would come back in here and let you guys know what I found that was causing my problem. When I converted from RAW to Jpg I was leaving the resolution at 96. I didn't think that would make a difference as long as I downsized under the max limit. Not so.....And thanks to all of you that tried to help.

Enjoy!!!!

4. And now a Little Blue Heron (juvenile) and I am sure he would rather stay white because he sure was a pretty thing.

Well worth the wait Houston! That first Spoonbill shot is wonderful but I really like the last. Its a Great Egret like you mentioned ... black legs, deep bow of neck in flight and the dark line just under the eye.
Beautiful shots!!

Stunning shots Houston !! - I hope you get these published. Your DOF is spot on in the egret flight shot, and as for the spoonbills, really really tops !! Glad you could sort your posting problem out, it doesn't make sense about the resolution, most of my shots are 300dpi, I have had no prob about uploading. I do find that if PS declares the size as 245KB, the actual file size is slightly larger [eg + - 250,000 bytes] due to the fact that there are 1024 bytes in a kilobyte [or something like that] . You can check that using the "right click, properties" command in windows.

Thanks Kent, I really appreciate your kind words. Now for your suggestion in the earlier failed post I'm using Elements 4 also, at least trying to. I didn't know you could open RAW files in it. I've been using Canon's EOS Viewers Utility. I have the 20D and 100-400L plus some other odds and ends. And I am surely going to try out your suggestion because I feel like I'm loosing too much quality the way I'm doing it now.
