I was going to practice my focusing on some flowers but when I got out there was a lonley Kookaburra so i practice on the bird instead. Hereis a picthat i took of the Kookaburra with myFuji S5600.

Camfreak, Great pose and subject....
Some CC: Since the bird was in shade your shutter speed was only 1/125 @ 5.6 which could be why the subject is a bit blurry. Did you crop this much and did you use a monopod or tripod? Its difficult to get a sharp shot at that speed. To improve a shot like this I'd recommend using fill flash to bring out the details in the bird and provide enough light to eliminate the effects of movement and camera shake. If you want to avoid using flash then try a monopod or tripod, bump up the ISO and experiment with the exposure compensation.
I really like the shot plus the Kookaburra is one of my favorite birds, keep posting!!
