Nice pose on the third shot, Don - It seems redwings are fairly common in Canada?

Thanks Jake. Yes, the RW's are all over here it seems. They like hanging around marshy ponds and lakes. In the spring, they're really noisy and exude a lot of attitude. Fun to watch them......Don

Yeah, that male has king of the hill attitude. l like the poses Don.

I guess you got all of ours, have only been a few around herethis summer, after nesting was over.

ThanksVP. They seem to be around here all year long. The bird sanctuary I visit, puts out feeders in the dead of winter only, and they hang around there all winter long. Too bad they take off from Texas in the summer. Maybe it's too hot?....cheers....Don
