Fantastic shots of the snake Jake. How did you handle the lighting?

The Barn Owl is also tops! I like how you handledits pose and crop.

Thanks again, guys - Kent, I used my built-in flash on the 20D, hand held, thelens was the 17-85USM IS with an extension tube. Iused a burn brush [midtones] to blacken the background, which was rather ugly [the bottom of the snake tank]
