Dennis, the exposures seem a little on the hot side on my monitor.

great series, Dennis... how close were you to the heron? they're often difficult to approach, but it looks like you got quite close. the exposure seems a tad bright on my screen too, but that doesn't detract from the captures! it is amazing what those guys can swallow... they're like the pythons of the bird world in terms of what they can get down their throats! # 5 could also be captioned "u-u-u-urp!" :lol:
