I usually don't usuallytake pictures ofwildlife concetrating mostlyon landscapes and architecture which tend to remain stationary when being photographed, but I did come across this guy finishing off lunch on a hillside above the Hudson river near Bear Mountain. I quickly snapped on the 200mm lens and got as close a possible. I figured the bird would spook and fly away any minute, but he didn't budge. He was more interested in his kill (the remains of which you can see at his feet) than some guy taking his picture.

Photo taken with Nikon D50 set on priority mode with 55-200 mm lens. Distance from subject about 10 feet.
