Yesterday was an experience for me in trying to capture a White Crowned Sparrow. For an hour and a half this creature did his best (and very well I might add) to keep something between itself and me. I could see the laughter in its eyes every time I clicked the shutter only to find he had left the frame only nanoseconds before. Finally before he departed for the evening he allowed this one passing shot.

Thank you Mr Sparrow, we will meet again.

Thanks VP.

I do try daily. 50 to 100 shots worth. I have some good captures of my local population but this one was special to me because of the effort involved.
