That would be a Blue Jay ...beautiful bird but from there, it goes downhill!!! They're loud & obnoxious! I believe they are in the same family as a crow. A group of them will dominate bird feeders (at least around here), they'll bother other birds that are trying to feed to the point that they are the only ones left & once they are done, then the others can eat. I could be wrong but I thought that I read once that they also will take over other birds' nests so they don't have to build their own. Sorry, personally, I don't like them! Can ya tell? LOL!

Great shots Boily! Really like the chickadee!

Thanks for the detailed info on the Blue jay. They are pretty but from your descriptions It sounds like they are a little troublesome. We have a blue jay over here but they look very different to ours. Thanks guys
