Hello everyone! have just received my new lens that has a macro setting at the 300mm end so thought i'd try it out onmy cat!, he wasn't impressed at all:sad:, i love the detail though, please let me know what you think and any tips on this style of macro work would be very welcome. thank you. Graham

LOVE IT! Beautiful cat, and he looks like my Tracks, so further reason to love it. I'd love to see one of him in a little brighter light, but I do love this more atmospheric capture. Great job IMO.

Thank you mspuck , He's a really big Tom but is as soft and gentle as a lamb!!. I did capture some more pics in slightly better light but he tended to close an eye or 2:-). just to inclued some mutual back slapping the shots in the park of the deer are fantastic, i wish our local wildlife was as friendly!! i wouldn't have to resort to picking onmy cat LOL:lol:.
