Took a walk in the wetlands today to take advantage of a break in the weather.

D70s 300mm f4 + 1.4x tc

A Bewick's Wren hanging out in a berry bush..

A Kinglet feeding on bugs in a Black berry bush.. had to step back to get this guy in min focus distance.

Kent, you rock!! Those duck shots are awesome! and you got some nice species in these pics to boot! With winter coming we are losing alot of our ducks to the migration, however there are some open water area's year around that will hold Mallards..

Thanks Bob and Mike! I really appreciate the comments.

Mike, the Teal and widgeons are migrading now and I really hope they stay for a bit.

Bob, the Kinglets are just now showing up so I hope to have many more shots!
