Great Shots!!!

I have been trying to get images like the gull, in flight, with no success. Can you offer some help?...like camera/lens/ap and shutter setting, etc that could help me.

My typical problem is focus....can't seem to get autofocus to work quickly enough, when the bird's on the wing. Manual focus has not been nearly as sharp as yours.

Waduya suggest?

Thanks
