Mike, in the spirit of the season, "Can we have some more, please???"...LOL! Awesome DOF & detail! Just made a calendar for my dad (he's a retired farmer so he HAS to have AT LEAST 6 every year!) ...anyway, I had to put 2 of my hummingbirds in it & they are horrible compared to the simplest of yours!!!

Keep 'em coming!

D.Ann, yes I use a Gitzo 1325 tripod with a Wimberly sidekick that sits on a RRS (Really Right Stuff) BH 55 ballhead.

Wadue, Thank you, those are kind words... one more and this was harder to capture... two hummers in the same photo with one flying.

Mike, I apologize for such a late response but I always enjoy your lil rockets and these are no exception, especially the last one of the one flying and the other sitting. The one sitting with the tail feathers spread apart is really neat.
