Minus 8 Degrees And Fog = Brrrrrrr (FZ30)

Since I like trying to get bad weather wildlife photos the 24th of December was a good opportunity.

I wraped my camera with a extra insulated vest since I didn't know how it would work in minus 8 degree tempture. I am not sure who got colder me or my camera. I think I probably gained 30 pounds with all the layers I had on. It seemed to me the fog had little ice crystals.

My wife said "These pictures make you feel the cold".







Elk with their heavy fur coat don't seem to mind the cold.

Nice shots Roger and beautiful scenery. Your wife is right.....I can feel that cold just by looking. I have been through your area in the winter..brrrr! Of course it didn't bother me as much then as it does now:-)

VP thanks for the nice comment. If you ever get back thru here call me and we can try and fill a few memory cards. Weo do have a lot of Wildlife in our area.
