Beautiful creatures, also quite rare, in fact, they are on the endangered list

I know you like deer, mspuck, so here's one for you :G- A "nursery" of young Impala. Something had caught their attention on my left, I like the way they all have their heads turned that way.

After admiring these beautiful creatures for five days, we had a very unpleasant experience on the way home - A duiker [a type of deer] ran into the road in front of my vehicle, and unfortunately it hit the vehicle, shattering both back legs. I had no option but to to "euthenase" it, and not having a handgun with me, I had to ride over it a few times with my vehicle. A very unpleasant end to our trip

Wow Jake. Prety good photos. A few years ago we saw lions on an elephant carcass and the smell was awful. Same with the giraffe?

Meat in the open at 38 centigrade rots quickly, this was about 4 days old and every now and again a breeze would blow the stench our way

Great shots! It looks nice and warm where you live - I could use some warm weather!
