K10 W/Bigma -Stalking Wildlife

Just before daylight I found a herd of bachelor Bull Elk on the side of a hill. These are wild free ranging Elk on public land.

The background photo is using a Tamron 24-135 and the inserts and the close up are with a Sigma 50-500. Not very good light but by the time the light reached this area they had gone into the dark timber to go to bed.

That's a big Elk Roger. Iknow what you mean about low light, not exactly a lot of help for photography.

Evening VP, I hope all is well with you and yours.

When I get a chance I am going back and see if I can get them closer to their bedding area. By the time they get there maybey I can have more lite available.

Ther is a couple of nice Bulls in the bunch. With good lite they would make great subjects for a photo or two.

Nice shots! You're really getting some reach with that Bigma. Good sharpness and contrast too.
