Ran across some Goldfinches munching on some frosted Chicory seeds in the early morning light... frosted chicory.. sounds like a new breakfast cereal
"Kellogs Frosted Chicory" :blah:

Nice "frosty" series Kent. I like the way the Goldfinches contrast with the ice crystals.

Thanks for the comments VP and Donna! It was a beautiful sunny day for a change. Its been a very grey and wet winter, sure was nice to get out.

Nice shots!! I like the 5th shot best. Question: what is the bright dot in the picture?? Is it dust or just something really bright in the background?

Nice series, you can always "clone stamp" out any bright spots in photo's as they can pull the eye away from the subject. :-)

Thanks Dennis!
I noticed the bright dot and almost removed it but decided against. Its a reflection but not sure of what... probably a bottle. Now you've got my interest up, next time I'm out I'll check it out. :-)
