went tomy favorite local park this afternoon, managed a few shots of some birds who braved the cold...

a killdeer walking on the ice near shore... the water was frozen over for 50-100 yards out into the lake.



a great blue heron who looked decidedly tired of all this cold stuff...



and a bald eagle who flew over just to check things out...
