Have been trying to get a Robin shot for some time now and finally got one descent enough to show yesterday.

Then my wife told me that this wasn't a robin, and showed me in a bird guide a Robin with a black head ...
after some searching we found out that the book was showing an american robin, so this a European one.

Your European Robin is sure a pretty little fellow. Seems there was some posted here being hand fed. They look to be quite smaller than the big Robins we have.
