I'm very impressed Kent! I like this series alot!!

If I may say a small nit pick, You do have a little bit of a halo around the Kestral(maybe from shadow/highlight recovery)? It isn't bad, but its noticeable. Usually that'll show up on the shadow/highlight tool if you don't use a high enough radius setting (I often use a value of 300 on PS, not sure what controls are in elements). It can also show up if your using USM to increase micro contrast (i.e. radius near 50, amount between 10 and 20).

Regards,

Mike

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Mike,
You're dead-on with the that shadow recovery observation. The bird was half in shadow due to the poor light angle and I really had to push the shadow recovery in elements 4. I'll play with the settings you suggested as I was not aware of the radius effect. Thanks for the advice bud!

The creature in 1 is cute but his beaks betray him. Awesome images. Split-secondcapture :ak47:and an interesting series oflifedown the food chain- survival of the fittest.
