Whoa! Kent, those are absolutely amazing. Those little buggers are one of the toughest birds to capture. They're so skitish. Great series of shots. They would look good as a trio of pictures on the wall. Well, maybe they would be to morbid for some. But, the science teacher in me loves them all. :G

Excellent job Kent! This is an awesome capture of this Kestrel and it'sprey. That might have been a hefty load to carry for that little guy. Did you get this from a blind?

Thanks all for the comments!!

VP, This was taken at my work here in Oregon. My company maintains a wetland preserve surrounding its campus. I actually walked up on this guy and was able to observe him hunting until its eventual success with the field mouse. The birds are exposed to alot of people traffic so you can get fairly close at times..
