In answer to the question of what kind of Marmot this is.......it would be the ever popular Yellow-Bellied Marmot of Colorado.

Thanks Ron, He definitely was posing...it is hard to catch these critters, but I guess we had lingered long enough taking other photos in the area he decided we weren't a threat.
