This was a rare shot for me. I was bushwacking through the forest and some fungi caught my eye. Then I looked a little past and saw this weird fuzzy looking fungus, and to my surprise it turned out to be a bat resting on a rock. I snapped this back in the summer before I bought my slr.

Bushwacking thru the forest sure turns up some interesting things. He looks like he really is enjoying that moss! Lucky you!

You could see his chest inflating/deflating as he laid there. But I do think he was on his way out, didn't want to get too close incase of rabies
