Excellent photos and I love the second one. Did you do much sharpening or is that how sharp the lens is?

Donna, You 've done an awsome job on this series. Great lighting, focus and composition. I really like the way you protrayed the finch with action shots... really puts some life into the photo. My favorite being #2

lovely shots, you must have one heck of a great window to look through with your range of birdlife. I see you have the IS model of the same lens as me so you may find any other extender you buy even easier to deal with:-)
