Those are fantastic. I particularly like the Canvas back in the shots for perspective. I am still hoping to get action flight shots like these some day. They all have their merits but, that second shot, with the low angle and the shawdow on the water is "OUTSTANDING!" These a are pleasure to view. Nice job.
Steve

Mike,
I hope you don't mind but I tried bringing out a little more detail in the shadowed area of the Juvenile. I used the shawdow/highlight tool in Elements at about 75%. Not huge difference but it did bring out a touch more detail to your excellent shot.
All the best,
Steve

Thanks Steve! You can always mess with my pics bud! :-) I unfortunately wasn't overly pleased with the shadows, I took that picture in mid day sun and the shadows were killing me. I was on my belly (if you didn't notice) for those shots and my neck is finally feeling better. Thanks for the kind words guys. :-)

Burlington, Iowa. But you can go down to Black Dog Road in Bloomington and have good opportunities as well. I frequent the river valley.

Ah! Now I know the secret of great eagle pictures, lying on your belly at river's edge. No wonder mine have lacking something!

It's definitely one way to get the shot. :-)
